4Front Robotics is selected one of 10 semi-finalists of the UAE Drones For Good Award’s Intl Category. The competiton received 1024 applications from 167 countries. Countries represented in the semi-finals are Austria, Canada, Ethiopia, Greece, Philippines, UAE, UK and the USA. The final competition, including a demonstration, will take place on Feb. 4-6, 2016.

Dr. Alex Ramirez-Serrano & 4Front Robotics winners of the 2014 ASTech award in the category of Applied Technology: Outstanding Achievement in Applied Technology & Innovation, for work over the past 10 yrs in UAV technology. The ASTech Awards are Alberta's highest Science &Technology honour.

 

4Front Robotics has qualified to the semi-finals stage of the UAE Drones For Good Award’s Intl Category. As a Semi Finalist, we also qualified for the "Indra's International Community Award: From Idea to Reality” which will reward the most voted proposal by Drones for Good Community.

Dr. Alex Ramirez-Serrano and 4Front Robotics are honoured to be named a 2014 ASTech Award Finalist by The Alberta Science and Technology Leadership (ASTech) Foundation in the category of Applied Technology: Outstanding Achievement in Applied Technology and Innovation sponsored by SAIT Polytechnic (July 10), for their work over the past 10 years developing a unique Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platform and Mini-Aerial Vehicles. The ASTech Awards are Alberta's highest Science and Technology honour.

4Front Robotics' president Alex Ramirez-Serrano gives three talks to children at the Telus SPARK Science Centre in Calgary about state of the art UAVs and aircrafts that people would say couldn't fly in the past (Sept. 23, Oct 2 & 3, 2013).

Our UAVs take part of "The Greatest Outdoor Show ABOVE Earth" with retired Canadian Astronaut Col. Chris Hadfield (July 6, 2013).

2012

4Front Robotics Ltd. was founded in 2012 to provide unmanned vehicle solutions to complex problems where current/traditional robotic devices cannot be used.

 

May - November:

Before the formation of 4Front Robotics our R&D work is part of a 6-month UAV exhibit (May to November, 2012)  at the "Canada Aviation and Space Museum" in Ottawa where visitors were able to see and experience state of the art UAVs.
